Rabaul Gurias’ inside centre Francis Paniu led Team Red to victory in a one sided affair in Red vs. Gold match yesterday at Lloyd Robson oval in Port Moresby.
Beth teams were scoreless inthe first half ofthe match. Team Red managed a try inthe second quarter afterthe half time.
Team Gold however consisted of star studded players but weren’t able tobreakefence to score asthe match wentthe Reds way, 18 nil at full-time.
It was a crucial match as 32 players playedtheir best to book a spot inthe Kumuls final team totheWorld Cup.
Team Kumul Coaching Director Mal Manenga, was out with his coaching staff and regional directors to assessthe players asthe countdown continues totheWorld Cup.
