They go into camp today, to begin preparations for the PNG Games.
He says the province must prepare to compete fiercely.
In a show of unity, team Morobe gathered at the Tutumang today for final addresses from the Morobe Government.
Sponsors and supporters of the sporting codes gathered in solidarity to prepare for the twenty provinces that will invade Lae in eight days.
Morobe Governor, Kelly Naru, gave a rousing speech late this afternoon, motivating athletes.
But his personal rivalry with NCD Governor, Powes Parkop, continues and took precedents today.
Governor Naru’s charisma was on overdrive as he spoke to the crowds of athletes for about 30 minutes.
It comes after Morobe successfully bided for the Games in East New Britain and is staging one of the biggest preparations for the country’s biggest sporting event.
