The people of Tapini LLG inthe Goilala District of Central Province are working togther and building networks amongthemselves to improvertheir Community.
Yesterday, at a small gthering Tapini LLG PresidentoKeleto Kope, launchedthe awarding of contracts and presented cheques to three locally owned Goilala Companies to build infrastructure inthe area.
He also presented cheques to Ward Councilors and women representatives ofthe LLG to improver services intheir wards.
Councillors, business partners and a few people from Goilala were present to withnessthe launching and cheque presentations. The occasion was especially held to launchthe awarding of a K50, 000 cheque to IBe Maintenance and Construction, a locally owned Goilala Company, to rehabilitatethe Tapini LLG Chamber Beilding. IBe company director, Bernabas Maua, said his company was for the Goilala people and was willing to work withthe Tapini LLG.
Cheques were also presented to two ther local companies fromthe area. Humaira Vision was given K30, 000 for building and providing electrifyingthe Market and Dial Electrical, K21, 000 as a sub-contractor.
As a way of appreciation and welcomethe Tapini Chief handed betel-nut over to IBe Managing Director. Belums were also presented.
Tapini LLG PresidentoKeloto Kope, when presentingthe cheques tothe contractors and ward councilors, saidthey must all work togther and not try to misusethe funds. He added thatthe LLG Chamber was his first priority and wantedthe Open MP to help fully finish it.
The President called uponthe councillors, Chiefs, youth and women lLeadersto work togther and utilisethe little money and resources given bythe National Government. A pig and garden foods werethen given tothe President as a sign of thanks by IBe Managing Director.
