The Northern Province became the first in the country to have a woman reprsentative in Parliament.
Delilah Gore, a candidate for the Sohe Open Seat, has unseated sitting member Anthony Nene.
Ms. Gore who was endorsed by the Triumph Heritage Party, beleives that she can properly represent the needs of her people and her province in the next 5 years.
Her victory was welcomed by the people of Sohe.
