The Under 19 Spartans proverdthe better side defeating University Piggies 10-7 in round 14 of Capital Rugby Union.
The win takes Spartans to fifth spot onthe point’s ladder.
Capital Rugby Union Round 14 played at Beva Park overthe weekend withnessedthe Under 19 teams all in full force.
University Piggies and Spartans were no exception.
Spartans meant business inthe opening minutes from lock Tabi Denton. Winger Be ndan Kuasmapa was able to snatch a try to put Spartans ahead.
The pressure was on as Piggies bounced back to levelthe score. The boys in blue keptthe ball in possession just nearthe line but were out of time and surrendered to Spartans.
Nova managed to put up a tough defence and clinchedthe lead to victory.
Nova pressed more on defence and came out on top 34-20.
