The Sir Brain Bell Foundation resented a cheque of K30,000 to City Mission PNG through its Sir Brian Bell’s Wish Tree program. The Sir Brain Bell Wish Tree program has been helping charity organisations in Papua New Guinea raise funds ever since 2017.
Last year at Christmas, Sir Brian Bell Foundation’s Wish Tree Program required customers to purchase a K2 Rudolph Nose wish card in any Brian Bell home centre nationwide in order to help raise funds for various charity organisations in PNG.
Today, Brian Bell Group’s Chairman, Ian Clough, presented a cheque of K30, 000 to City Mission PNG.
City Mission’s Farm Manager, Peter Moody, upon receiving the donation, said City Mission’s aim to provide life skills training and rehabilitation for the young men of this country will help with the operational cost of running City Mission.
Over the couple of years customers of Brain Bell in conjunction with the Sir Brain Bell Foundation’s Wish Tree Program, provided donations to community groups for K320 000.
This year’s Wish Program generated K160 000 – whilst K30, 000 was donated to City Mission, other charities nationwide will, in time, receive their share.
