Seif Raida Launched New Condom: Yu Boy Stret

A new condom is now out on the markets and stores. Seif Raida Orange Plus condom is the new interesting addition to the range of current condoms.

The New Condom is of high Quality with a fun twist of orange scent and ribbed texture. It is part of Population Services International (PSI) Social Marketing strategy to encourage people to use condoms and reduce the spread of HIV AIDS.

It was launched recently during a dinner function at the Gateway hotel here in Port Moresby.

The condoms are distributed by PSI, a non-profit organisation that has been contributing to the Government’s National HIV/AIDS Strategic Plan since 2007.

They have been working with the Health Department, National AIDS Council and other Non-Government Organisations in the fight against HIV and AIDS. The launch was attended by all these departments.

Also there, was American High Commissioner to PNG, Walter North and New Zealand High Commissioner, Jonathan Fletchen.

PSI Country Representative Gabriel Ganci, when making his speech said the new condom was part of the Organisations Social Marketing Program.

National Aids Council Director, Peter Bire said according to the position statement by UNHPA and WHO condoms, these is an effective way to reduce the spread of HIV and AIDS and must be promoted.

Representing the Health Department was Dr Lucy John.

She was the one who cut the ribbons to officially launch the new product.

There were live entertainments from the Watete Comedian group and the Yumi FM dual Kasti and Papa Heni Fuka. There were also live band performances.

The condom was launched under the slang “Yu Boy Stret” to encourage boys not to be shy when purchasing condoms.
