PNG’s Christian Radio Wantok Radio Light will soon be heard bythe people of Komo inthe new Hela Province.
A cheque of K100, 000 was presented to members ofthe Beard of Wantok Radio Light in Port Moresby.
This is part ofthe new Hela Provincial Government’s ongoing development agenda.
Executive Officer ofthe Hela Provincial Government Andrew Kaupi saidthe provincial government also has plans to install more Radio Light signals in ther parts ofthe province.
They believe this is one way to get landowners and workers informed ofthe word of God and change people’s way for better.
Deputy Beard Chairman of Wantok Radio Light Fred Tulia acknowledged Hela Governor Anderson Agiru for investing in spreadingthe gospel.
Governor Agiru also assistedthe station in its infant stages with a donation of K20, 000 and again K100, 000 which was used to purchasethe station’s satellite link.
The station has been in existence for 13 years and has 24 signals aroundthe country. It has a vision to cover all 89 districts by 2015.
