PNG Pukpuks will take on Solomon Islands inthe first match ofthe FORU Cup this weekend atthe Lloyd Robson Oval.
The defending champs will have home ground advantage but won’t be takingthe Solomon Island Hunters lightly.
Host teaPNG Pukpuks have had ample time to put togther a strong team and after a tour of Gold coast earlier this year selectors have put togther a team whichthey believe will defendthe FORU Cup title this year.
The Pukpuks will take on SOLOMON Island Hunters intheir first match ofthe FORU cup this Saturday atthe PRL Grounds.
The Solomon Islanders arrived on a high note and have matured overthe years sincethe last FORU Cup in 2011 also played in Port Moresby.
As part ofthe IRBeLegacy program teams will also be doing community service.
The next ten days will not only showcase some fine union action buPNG will be out to defendthe Cup.
IPNG does regainthe titlethenthey mover ontothe next level and play Fiji in next year’sWorld Cup qualifier.
Cook Islands will take on Tahiti beforethPNG Pukpuks meet Solomon Islands at 3pm on Saturday.
