United States President Donald Trump has reportedly told Foreign Affairs Minister Rimbink Pato, that APEC will be a spectacle of an event for Papua New Guinea.
A statement from the Minister’s office yesterday afternoon said; while at a reception in New York City, President Trump said he wishes PNG all the best in hosting this big event.
According to the statement, President Trump said he would be well-represented at the APEC Leaders’ Summit, by Vice President Mike Pence.
Both Vice President Pence and his wife Karen expressed to Minister Pato that they were looking forward to being in PNG for the APEC meeting.
