POM Billiards and Snooker Association Sees New Committee

John Chan has been elected as the Vice President of the Port Moresby Billiards and Snooker Association (PNGBSA), following their Annual General Meeting earlier this week in Port Moresby.

He now takes over responsibilities from Roger Wilson.

Other committee members elected to post are long time PNGBSA administrators, Stewert Nikints as Vice-President and Wille Tiki as Secretary.

While the committee sees the re-election of Ephata Samuel, Joey Chan, Marcus Ng, Richard Whitchurch, they have also elected new faces in Sean McCarthy, Bobbie McCarthy and Danny Earles for this term.

Former Port Moresby BSA President, Roger Wilson is now the Treasurer for PNGBSA. 

Marking a milestone for women in snooker this year, President for Women in Snooker, Bonnie McCarthy will serve her first term in the PNGBSA Committee this year.

PNGBSA are now gearing up for the 2015 Men’s National Snooker Title’s in September. The staging of the National’s will coincide with the country’s 40th Independence Day celebrations.
