Leader of the Opposition, Don Polye, was on the FM100 Talkback Show this morning at the FM 100 studio’s in Port Moresby.
Among the different issues raised, the Opposition Leader said he was serious about a Vote of No Confidence in the next session of parliament.
Mr Polye was on the radio show with the renowned talk show host Roger Hau’ofa.
He voiced many of the Opposition’s various concerns with how the country was being managed and at the end of the show; Mr Polye said he was serious about a ‘Vote of No Confidence’ in the next session of parliament.
In the same breath, Mr Polye also clarified that the Opposition doesn’t necessarily always disagree with the government. He said the government has some good policies like the Free Education Policy.
He made this remark when expressing disappointment that the Opposition wasn’t invited to any of the meetings when Joko Widodo, President of the Republic of Indonesia was in the country for a two-day state visit.
