PNG Rugby Football League players have a greater chance to play forPNG’side inthe Queensland Rugby League in 2014 season.
The Queensland State of Australia is known for developing raw talent into keen footballers who maketheir mark inthe national side, as well as onthe international scene.
Many well-known footballers started at an early school age and developed overthe years.
Rugby League is known as a national sport in PNG and has come a long way for players anPNGRFL to developthe sport to where it is today. Howeverthere is a mammoth task ahead.
TodayPNGRFL announcePNG’s entry intotheIntrust Super League Cup.
PNG will compete againstthe Queens land’s hot favorit’s, including Nothern Pride, Mackay Cutters Football Clubs.
Players taking part in Digicel Cup, Zone trials and Schoolboys Rugby League program will have a greater chance to book a spot forPNG’side.
PNGRFL gives opportunity to Papua New Guineas to send intheir favorite players’ names to be included inthe team as well asthe name ofthe side.
Venue forPNG’side to host this match will be Kalaond in Kokopo, East New Beitain while PRL going major upgrade.
Meanwhile, Team Kumul beat Scotland intheirWorld Cup pre-match, hinting at more wins to come.
The launching saw all teams intheir national colors ready to battle it out. For Team Kumul,the red, black and gold, will be spotted among 14 teams asthe country will watchthe Kumuls whenthey go head to head with France.
