PNG women’s football is set promote another FIFA program in the country.
In partnership with FIFA the ‘Live Your Goals’ concept will be launched at Sir John Guise Stadium this Sunday.
The main aim of the program is to increase participation of girls and women in football, increase the interest of women’s football locally, nationally and globally, and generate excitement about women’s football.
The campaign also seeks to have women and girls committed to the sport and will ensure that football is the number one sport across the globe in terms of participation and popularity.
The launch will kick-off on Sunday with the Walk for Life, starting at the old Sea Park all the way through to the Sir John Guise Stadium.
The launch will include 200 girls from different schools learning basic football drills from female coaches and players.
