PNG Men’s National Football in Camp

The PNG Men’s National Football are in camp in Port Moresby on a week-long training camp.

Head Coach, Flemming Serritslev, has introduced four new players into the team, with four months out from their next World Cup Qualifier.

The 29 man squad have united in one common purpose which is the Qualifiers for Russia 2018.

Initial preparations are for a proposed friendly against Vanuatu, with Head Coach Flemming Serritslev stating a possible match in November.

Serritslev, is also using the opportunity to introduce new potential representatives for the squad.

Whilst travelling after their training session, Goal Keeper Ronald Warisan is also excited at the prospect of having fellow Lae City Dweller team mate, Troy Gunemba, among the new faces on the squad.

In camp until next week Wednesday, the squad will be joined by other PNG internationals, namely Captain David Muta, and the rest of the members of the national team who are in the Solomon Islands at the moment. They also plan to see strikers Raymond Gunemba and Nigel Dabinyaba, from both Australia and New Zealand, here in the nation’s capital over the next two days.
