PNG Judo Federation Plans for More Participation

The Judo Federation in PNG is making a comeback into the sporting fraternity after almost two years of absence.

Development programs have been put into place, and will be rolled out with help from the Oceania Judo Union and the International Judo Federation.  

With the plans that the Judo Association in PNG have in place, they will be looking to get more people involved in the Sport and carry the development programs into the schools.

The Oceania Judo Union has come on board to help roll out the development program.

Papua New Guinea is the first country in the Pacific to go through this program.

The aim of the development program is to build capacity and get more people involved in the sport.

PNG Judo federation will be introducing VIP’s from the International Judo Federation and the Oceania Judo Union, they will be joined by elite PNG Judo athletes who will be showcasing explosive Judo demonstrations at the University Of Papua New Guinea.
