PNG & Australia Sign Economic Corporation Treaty

An “Economic Corporation Treaty” has been signed between the Governments of Papua New Guinea and Australia.

Foreign Affairs Minister’s Rimbink Pato and Senator Bob Carr initialized the Treaty on Thursday afternoon, at the Papua New Guinea-Australia Ministerial Forum held in Port Moresby.

The treaty is part of a number of development agreements and immigration and trade issues which were discussed and signed under a communiqué.
