The highlight of the PNG, Korea dialogue today was a presentation on Korea’s rural development policy.
It was focused on creating and nurturing a change in mentality in the rural population, which resulted in an economic growth in the rural areas, which surpassed that in urban areas.
The PNG Korea dialogue is part of celebrations of the 40th anniversary of the bilateral relationship between the two countries.
Uno Konisimo, who is an advocate of this strategy, says this can be a rural development strategy that can help PNG’s rural and SME sector.
