Prime Minister Peter O’Neill has stoppedthe Eviction of National Housing Corporation Waigani Hostel.
NHC failed in an attempt to evict tenants last Thursday.
Mr. O’Neill saidthe last thing his government would want to do is put mthers and children onthe streets of Port Moresby.
He has directedthe Housing Minister Paul Isikel to brief cabinet on what procedures he has taken to carry outthe eviction.
