In this episode:
We talk about the wildlife and its’ wide ranging impact economically, socially and environmentally. The third of March annually marks the World Wildlife Day. But why do we observe this day? Well, simply because wildlife species have disappeared, are disappearing and will continue to disappear from the face of the Earth if we, do not take action now to save the wildlife.
The theme for this year’s World Wildlife Day is “The Future of Wildlife is in Our Hands”. This day was celebrated by Port Moresby Nature Park which is a non-profit organization dedicated to inspiring in others the protection of PNG’s natural environment.
Present on that day were other organizations that share the same interest in creating awareness and educating people on the importance of looking after the wildlife and the endangered species.
We also feature Papua New Guinea’s potential for ecotourism with the vast and unique wildlife that we have. Ecotourism is more than a walk through the rainforest.
