Ok Tedi Schoolboys 3rd in College Union 7s in Sydney

The Ok Tedi Schoolboys from Western Province played exceptionally well taking out 3rd placing atthe Schoolboy Union Sevens in Sydney overthe weekend.

The boys return on Monday with content.

The boys quietly leftthe country and now return with joy after beating ther colleges in Australia and New Zealand inthe College Union 7’s in Sydney on Saturday. The outcome was unexpected.

Beingthe only schoolboy team froPNG,the result showed how goodthey were.

It was alsothe first time for most ofthese boys to participate in such international competition.

Sponsor,the OTML Managing Director and CEO Nigel Parker who was in Sydney to supportthe boys, applaudedthe team’s performance. Parker says that day clearly demonstratePNG’s raw talents.

A big celebration is expected later this week as Families, friend, supporters and sponsor welcomethe team home.
