NSL late start

The National Soccer League competition will start in February and not January as scheduled bythPNG Football Association.

This has caused some concern for soccer fans and administrators aroundthe country as franchise clubs push to meetthe deadline to registration.

With an affiliation of K80 000 for new franchise clubs, current champs Hekari United, Welgris Highlanders, Besta United and brand new Franchise West New Beitian Tavur have paid in full.

Only two last spots remain inthe 6 team format NSL season while Oro Berdwing FC have madetheir intentions known of payingtheir affiliation beforethe start ofthe competition.
