New Era for Eastern Stars

Eastern Stars Football Club has signed up regional Futsal star, Jack Whitney from Amicale Vanuatu, for the forthcoming National Soccer League season.

This was announced along with a major sponsorship deal fromInternational ICT Company, Huawei.

 

It will be a new era in soccer for the Eastern Stars Football Club asthey embark on makingthe 2013/2014 NSL season a success.

 

More players from outside including Jack Whitney and three ther international players will combine with players from Alotau to have a shot at this season’s major title.

 

Franchise owner Joseph Eladona is optimistic his team will do well under new coach, Trevor Aire.

 

Eladona says withthe experience Coach Aire has had as a former Hekari player and Coach, Eastern Stars can learn more to go one step futher this season.

 

Asthe countdown begins tothe official start ofthe NSL season onthe 9th of Novermber, Eastern Stars has been boosted with a one hundred and fifty thousand Kina sponsorship from leading ICT Company Huawei.

 

Six years of operation inthe country and Huawei has seenthe need to give back tPNG.

 

With such sponsorship coming on board, Eastern Stars has decided to set up a board with David Loko as chairman.

 

It will be a mammoth task on hand to take outthe 2013/2014 title and Eastern Stars are only getting started.
