Jephat Tulapi fromthe Lagatoi Netball Association and Courtney Abel from Alotau have madethe cut forthPNG Under 21 Netball team totheWorld Championships in Scotland.
TheWorld Youth Championships will be held in Glasgow fromthe 22nd tothe 31st of this month.
PNG Netball has announced a strong 12 member squad with three non-travelling reserves for the upcomingWorld Youth Championships.
A number of training camps were conducted in Port Moresby under head coach Margaret Opina.
Final selection camp was carrlied out. Full medical and fitness testing were conducted beforethe final team was announced.
The team comprises of 4 current Pepes players; Nerrie Adula, Margret Eka, Mary Paul Be ler and Tau Galewa who were part ofthPNG Pepes team tothe Pacific Netball series in Samoa.
Young Japeth Tulapi has stamped her mark inthe Port Moresby Netball Competition playing for the Sparrows netball club.
Courtney Abel isthe only one out from Alotau apart from Lae’s Nerrie Adula.
TheWorld Youth Championships will take place fromthe 22nd tothe 31st of August.
