Need for Family Planning Services to be ‘Youth-Friendly’

The provision of family planning services needs to be more ‘youth-friendly’ to allow for more young people to be empowered to exercise their rights to have access to family planning information and services

Marie Stopes PNG, through their Rights at Every Level Project, are working to support health providers in ensuring that requirements in the national family planning policy are put into effect.

Misconceptions surrounding family planning continue to pose challenges for the effective delivery of family planning services in PNG.

Marie Stopes PNG is an NGO that has been operating in Papua New Guinea for the past nine years, providing affordable sexual and reproductive health choices to women and men.

The Rights at Every Level Project aims to support and advocate for the first National Family Planning Policy and the Sexual Reproductive Policy in PNG.
