Moses Liu is now the new Managing Director for National Development Bank.
Mr Liu has been acting in this position for over two years until his recent appointment by National Executive Council on Tuesday this week.
His appointment as NDB’s Managing Director was made known during the official opening of NDB’s Popondetta branch yesterday.
He has been acting in the Managing Director’s position for over two years.
His hard work and commitment behind the success of National Development Bank, has finally paid off, earning him the top post in the company. Mr Moses Liu is now the Managing Director of NDB.
NDB’s Chairman, William Lamur, announced this in Popondetta yesterday.
Agriculture and Livestock Minister and MP responsible for NDB, Tommy Tomscoll, congratulated Mr Liu saying his leadership in the past has seen the bank's success, and as a result, the NEC decided to appoint the post to him.
Mr Liu hails from both the Hela and Enga provinces, has a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from Australian National University, and is an accountant by profession with separate Australian and PNG CPAs.
Mr Liu said NDB plans to open new branches in the next five years.
So far they have registered over five thousand customers already.
