Morobe Governor Kelly Naru has begun what is expected to become a series of weekly public outdoor meetings in which he discusses various issues of concern.
During the first meeting yesterday, the governor told those who came, that the provincial government won’t settle compensation claims nor will it assist in funding hauskrais.
He also said he won’t be attending graduations this year because of official commitments, but he will send representatives instead.
Naru’s relatively unorthodox approach has left many surprised, but pleased.
