Minister for Finance and Tari Pori MP James Marape says the 2013 budget will be people focused.

He therefore called on all government ministers to lay out the plans of their respective departments.

The finance minister also said the budget will be based on the five priority areas of the O’Neill Dion government which include health, education, infrastructure development, law and order and growing the economy.

He said they will also look at reviewing the Financial Management Act where certain laws of compliance will be incorporated to hold corrupt people accountable.
