Opposition on supplementary budget report

The opposition has raised concerns that the government did not report on the use of the K781.8 million allocated in the 2011 Supplementary Budget.

Despite the release of the Mid Economy Fiscal report, this information was not captured as called for in the Fiscal Responsibility Act.

Shadow Minister for Finance Joseph Lelang called on Finance Minister James Marape to table this report in parliament.

Mr Marape however said the Third Quarter Review will capture all expenditure including the use of this money.
