Lae‹¨«s Premier Club Manager Murdered

By Martha Louis – EM TV News, Lae

The manager of Lae’s Premier Club along the Cassowary Road has been found murdered, with his body dumped in the club’s ladies toilet.

The deceased is from Malaysia, and was believed to have resided within the club’s premises.

Police believe four suspects gained entry into his house through the back gate. He was robbed before being killed.

Day shift staff discovered his body the following morning.

The workers turned up early yesterday morning for work, but waited until 11am for him to open the door.

They grew suspicious and forced their way in through the back gate at around 12pm.

He was discovered in the female toilet by one of his employees.

Steven Dina, the supervisor of Premier Club, says there were knife wounds to his neck when he discovered the body.

The workers then alerted the police.

Acting Metropolitan Commander, Timothy Pomoso, said an investigation has already begun and that police will pick up one of the four suspects for questioning soon.

The man’s body is now at the Lae International Hospital morgue.
