Labour Dep’t To Host Soccer Competition

One government department keen on promoting a healthy lifestyle for its workers is the Department of Labor and Industrial Relations.

And they are doing this through the NCD Public Servant Soccer.

It’s not often you see government departments fully involved in any sanctioned tournaments because of the work commitment they have and the time allocated to their social department.

But for the Labor Department, Sport plays a significant role in enhancing the human resource for a healthy lifestyle.

Being part of the NCD Public Servant Soccer Competition is one way they can get their staff fully involved in Sport.

So far, they have performed to standard but need to improve, as their motto in the competition is to go for gold and end child labour.

They received a new set of uniforms for both men’s and women’s teams and training equipment from the department’s secretary, George Vaso.

With this commitment shown by the department, the team is ready to take to the field in their new outfit in this year’s season proper.

The competition will witness flaring games this weekend at the Institute of Public Administration Sport Ground. EM TV is recording these games for future OB events.
