Head of Kickboxing, Stanley Nandex announcedthe cancellation ofthe Kickboxing 8-Man Tournament planned for Kokopo.
However, Organizing Committees confirmed this morning that preparations are going on well. Medical examinations for Provincial based fighters have commenced and continue today for fighters coming in from ther centers.
Beuganville, West New Beitain and Kavieng have confirmedtheir participation and over fifty fighters are expected to compete.
Governor for East New Beitain Ereman ToBeining Jr has also pledged K20, 000 to supportthe organizing ofthe showdown to be held atthe Catholic Diocese Hall in Kokopo.
The organizing committees are working hard to get everything set before Heat 2 ofthe 8-Man Tournament is staged this weekend.
