Attorney General and Justice Minister, Kerenga Kua has called for an immediate stop to compensation demands in his Sinasina Yongomugl District in Chimbu Province.
Speaking atthe ground breaking ceremony for a twelve kilometer road construction at Nintul village overthe weekend, Mr Kua pointed out that compensation demands are obstacles to any planned and approverd infrastructure projects inthe district.
Kua warned that he would not hesitate to instructthe contractors to discontinue road construction work undertaken inthe three Local Level Government areas in his district if and when compensation demands arise.
