27-year old Michael Jennings announced this morning he has signed a four-year contract with the Paramatta Eels starting this year.
The Roosters, who have confirmed Brisbane centre, Dale Copley, as their replacement for Jennings say they are yet to sign-off on the switch, as he is still finalising his contract with the Eels.
The Sydney Roosters will sign off on Michael Jennings’ discharge in the next 48 hours releasing the NSW Centre to join Paramatta by the end of the week.
Michael Jennings has played 193 NRL Games and has made 16 State of Origin appearances for the NSW.
His inclusion comes as a major boost for the Paramatta Eels after losing Jarryd Hayne and Will Hopoate last season.
“Parramatta’s a club on the rise and I’m looking forward to the challenge, taking a leadership role and further developing my game,” Jennings said.
