The Airport is the main entry and centre of attraction for any country like Papua New Guinea.
And, Jacksons International Airport terminal, in the Nation’s Capital, underwent new facelift to compete with the global market.
Jacksons International Terminal has a new look and the facility is now ready for use, just in time for the Pacific Games and for future use.
National Airports Corporation, Acting Managing Director, Joseph Tupiri, said the entity is committed in developing airport facilities around the country to standard.
Prime Minister, Peter O’Neill, commissioned the new look terminal.
Mr O’Neill stated that the National Government is committed to improving infrastructure around the country, among them are airport facilities.
He said that the increasing population places a high demand.
The international terminal extension was constructed by Matrix Company at K120 million.
The expansion is of passenger’s choice, making traveling convenient.
