A Port Moresby Youth has called on city residents not to harbor criminals behindthe murder of four Chinese killed at Badili two weeks ago.
He said communities know whothe criminals are andthey must handthem tothe Police.
Kenneth Wauga, a youth advocate who resides in Korobosea, a neighbouring suburb of Badili-Koki -the crime Scene. Kenneth Wauga saidthe killings have tarnishedthe nation’s image locally and abroad.
He appealed for those involved to surrenderthemselves or people harbouringthe suspects to immediately handthem over.
Meanwhile,the Police Forensic Unit has ruled outthe possibility of an arranged Chinese Triad Murder. Police believethe crimes were committed by disgruntled employees or former. They are also following up on ther leads provided by those atthe crime scene.
Last week,the criminals entered PoomoIndustry (PNG) Limited at Badili Koki, tlied up locals atthe back and killedthe four Chinese nationals. The Chinese Association in PNG has condemnedthe killings oftheir nationals.
The Chinese Embassy in PNG’said it wasthe worst case involvingtheir citizens in 20 years.
