Seven tons of food ration have been delivered to villagers affected by the Manam volcanic eruption.
The PNG Defense Force delivered 3,900 litters of drinking water, 200 bales of rice, 150 boxes of cooking oil and 208 cartoons of tin fish.
Meanwhile HMPNGS MORESBY will continue to transport relief and medical supplies provided by the Madang Provincial Administration.
A team from the PNGDF engineering battalion in Lae is expected to travel to Manam to assess damages.
