AFL PNG’s calendar looks bright this season, with the recent Under 16 Binatangs’ successful tour, and the bringing on board of a new sponsor.
The code will involve as many youngsters as possible, in an effort to take the code further.
AFL PNG has kicked off with the NiuKick Program, and has seen enthusiastic Youngsters raise their hands to be part of the program.
Their efforts were followed by the U16 Binatangs Pacific Cup campaign in Australia. They came out victors by defeating Oceania and Australia, and slipped back home with the cup for the second time.
Another reason to smile is the partnership brought forward by the business houses.
This marks an exciting period for AFL PNG to have EsiLoan, a subsidiary of Kina Finance Limited, to drive the profile of AFL PNG to the next level, and showcasing the immense amount of player talent for potential recruiters in Australia.
AFL PNG Senior Advisory Board Deputy Chairman, Loi Bakani, was on hand to thank the new sponsor.
Kina Group Chief Executive officer, Sydney Yates, described the sponsorship as part of promoting and developing the code, and creates wider benefits throughout the community.
The U16 Binatangs successful campaign reconfirms the growth and success of the AFL PNG program, and underlines the significance of continued sponsorship and support, from corporate houses such as Kina and EsiLoan.
