Dadae Responds To The Plight Of Teptep People

Kabwum MP Bob Dadae today responded to the plight of Teptep people.

He explained that public servants from his electorate moved away from Teptep because of its remoteness.

Dadae suggested Morobean MP’s for rural districts use development funds to buy planes in order to beef up North Coast Aviation fleets to service their electorates.

He also announced that a road will be constructed from Erap into Teptep.

He also announced that a road would be constructed from Erap into Teptep.

Morobe’s Kabwum district shares Teptep station with Madang’s Rai coast in the Border Mountains.

Today, Kabwum MP Bob Dade explained that public servants from both provinces are expected to live in the station.

But he says officers for Yus LLG in his electorate moved to Bungawat – a more central location.

He also says a road was going to be built from Wantuat, but land disputes forced the district to plan for a road from Erap to Teptep.

But work has to begin for the people to see tangible development. For now, Bob Dadae calls for more third level airline companies to fly to Teptep.

He made one more suggestion – for the Morobe provincial government to buy more planes for North Coast Aviation – the only airline company servicing the area.

But the people have clearly stated what they want – a new road must be built; airfreight subsidies or another airline must dilute the airfreight prices.
