Sunday May 19 wasInternational Candle Vigil Day This isthe day to remember those living with or those who have dlied from HIV/AIDS.
A small group of people honored this day in Port Moresby withthe launch of a HIV/AIDS Educational DVD.
The six minute piece comes in English, Tok-Pisin and Motu in a comic format to spreadthe message onthe prevention of HIV and AIDS.
The aim ofthe DVD is to preventthe spread of HIV through Education.
Allan Pluck, HIV/AIDS Activists, saysthe program started about two years ago andthe objective ofthe project is in a very simple way and that is to “to spreadthe very important message of safe sex and using condoms and preventthe spread of HIV and AIDS”.
