Bougainvilleans Pray For Peace

Bougainvilleans on Good Friday, 3 April, 2015, joined the universal Catholic Church and walked the Stations of the Cross.

Joined by other Christian Churches, they animated the suffering of ‘Our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ’ on the road to Calvary, 2000 year’s ago.

It was the second day of this Easter Tridium, celebrating the life, death and resurrection of Christ, by Catholic faithful and Christians of Buka Town and Sohano Island.

Prayer were dedicated for good leadership in all sectors Church, community and Government, that was focused on good leadersip.

Leadership that will bring Bougainville to its destiny and maintain peace and security for Bougainvilleans.

More importantly the upcoming major events that will happen in the autonomous region this year, that includes the third ABG General Election, Bel Kol Reconciliations other activities that will unite Bougainville.

The Easter triduum continues with the Vigil Holy Mass tonight and Easter Sunday, the Resurrection of the Lord.
