Boromas Defeat Hammerheads in 2016 Export Rugby Championships Grand Final

Both sides came into the match eager to prove their worth in the final of the 2016 Export Rugby Championship.

The Morobe Hammerheads went head-to-head with the might of the CRU Boromas.

In a very physical encounter, the Boromas muscled their way over for the first try of the match.

But the Morobe Hammerheads were quick to reply out wide through their winger.

Captain of the Boromas Tisa Kautu led by example and took it on himself to score again for the men from Port Moresby.

To lead going into the break being 13-8.

The second half however saw one too many handling errors from the Hammerheads and the Boromas took advantage and piled on the points to take top spot in the 2016 Export Rugby Championship.
