First Phase Buildings of Lae Market Completed and Ready for Use

The first phase of the Lae market construction of additional buildings is completed and is now ready for use.

The construction began in July this year, funded by National Fisheries Authority.

The cost of the project is more than K700,000.

Artyc (ARTIC) Limited, the contractor in charge of the construction of the buildings officially handed over the completed project to Lae City Council this week.

Construction of additional shelters is funded by National Fisheries Authority and was completed today.

There are two stages to the project. The first had just completed and the second includes the construction of buildings for poultry and fish.

The Lae City Council will continue to assess and manage the completed buildings.
