The Papua New Guinea Football Association today announced that the PNG National Team will be travelling for a friendly game against Malaysia. The match is scheduled for 14th of November in Kuala Lumpar.
Head of Delegation, Joseph Ealedona said Coach Flemming Seritsllev has retained most of the team members from the OFC Nations Cup of this year in Port Moresby. New additions include Madang PNG Under-20 striker Stahl Gubag, Central province youngster Kolu Kepo, and New Zealand-based Rodney Mobiha.
The team will fly out of the country on the 7th November for Malaysia after a week’s camp in Port Moresby and another week in Malaysia before the game. They are also awaiting confirmation to play Singapore before the Malaysia Game.
The Malaysia game is sanctioned as a ranking game by FIFA. Malaysia is seeking to settle their loss to PNG recently and also we expecting the Malaysian football supporters to come out to see who we are following our win and our performance at the recent OFC Nations Cup.
