Following weeks of intense competition, competing clubs in the Fairfax Volleyball Association have just completed regular season rounds and will now begin finals.
Clubs to look out for in the finals of competition, in the men’s division will be consistent performers Raukele, who have proven all season that they are one of the best in the competition.
But other clubs such as the Patriots, University and Freeway Hawks have been known to be a force to be reckoned with in previous seasons.
While clubs prepare for the finals, selected players from the association have undergone vigorous training in preparation for the 2016 National Championship which is scheduled for next month.
In the lead up to the championship, selected teams have been trimmed down to the final numbers as they zero in on the competition.
Other volleyball associations throughout the city are also in full swing preparing for the National Championship.
NCD Volleyball Association are currently focusing on the coming championship and have always been a threat to other centres when they step onto the court.
