The Papua New Guinea Business Coalition for Women earlier this week hosted a panel discussion on female leadership in both the private and public sectors.
A panel of distinguished women led the discussions comprising of Lesieli Taviri, Lady Aivu Tavausa, Lady Winifred Kamit, Violet Aopi and Karen Mitchell.
The women talked about the importance of having women in leadership roles, what’s holding them back from getting into further leadership roles and how women can accelerate economic empowerment.
The forum was honouring the groundbreakers, celebrating the achievers and inspiring the next generation of female business leaders.
