Puara to Start in Halves to Partner Boas

SP Hunters Coach Michael Marum has made one change for this weekend’s Round 20 clash against Easts Tigers at the National Football Stadium in Port Moresby on Sunday.

Hooker Wartovo Puara moves into the halves to partner Ase Boas, shifting Ate Bina Wabo to the interchange.

Warren Glare gets a start at hooker while Sailas Gahuna makes the interchange bench in the extended 20-man squad. Changes may still happen before game day depending on injuries, but this will be the side that will train and prepare for another must win game against Easts Tigers.

Watson Boas will be given another week off due to injury while Noel Zeming, Henry Wan, Tuvi Lepan, Nixon Borana and Stargroth Amean have at least two to three weeks to recover.

They will be taking on teams in the top six for the next five rounds, and it is important the boys recover fully from injuries.

Butler Morris has been given the starting role on the wing after an impressive performance last week, scoring his first try of the season.
