France has begun its retaliation course following the Paris terrorist attacks by launching its biggest air raid to date on Syria.
10 French fighter jets dropped 20 bombs on the Islamic State stronghold of Raqqa last night, targeting vital ISIS hotspots.
The raid, launched simultaneously from the United Arab Emirates and Jordan, comes just two days after the group claimed responsibility for coordinated attacks in Paris that killed more than 130 people.
The operation, carried out in coordination with U.S. forces, struck a command centre, recruitment centre for jihadists, a munitions depot and a training camp for ISIS militants.
No casualties have been reported, as yet.
