Lae City Dwellers are keen to take on Oro FC in Port Moresby, this Saturday, in the round 7 encounter of the Telikom National Soccer League.
Following their 2-1 victory over Admiralty FC last Saturday, the Lae boys are looking at continuing their winning streak.
Lae’s main aim is to keep off Oro’s Garry Moka and Kohu Liem from penetrating through the defense.
Coming off from three consecutive wins, the Lae City Dwellers will be hard at training this week before taking on the Oro FC.
The Lae side has seen significant improvements in recent weeks and they will be out to maintain that strong confidence away from home.
In their last encounter against Admiralty, many of their new players played their best throughout the 90 minutes of the game.
Captain Nigel Dabinyaba was impressed with his boys’ performance, but says more work needs to be done in the midfield to make things easier for the finishers.
Despite being newcomers in the Telikom National Soccer League, they have made it to the second spot after the starting the season at the bottom of the ladder.
The Dwellers will bank on experiences from Raymond Gunemba, Nigel Dabinyaba, Valentine Nelson and Japhet Tiampo to guide them through the game.
Their main aim is to keep the ball away from Oro’s Garry Moka and Kohu Liem.
The Dwellers are now in training before they leave for Port Moresby on Friday.
