PNG Barramundis Ready for South Australia Premier League

PNG Barramundis captain Chris Amini saysthe team is set for South Australia Premier League to be held in September in Australia.

The Barramundis are hoping to set a benchmark and bring cricket tothe next level.

PNG Hebou Berramudis has a mammoth task ahead however preparation has already kicked off under skipper and playmaker Chris Amini. Amini is confident for the team despite final selection which will come out fromthe ongoing Hebou Shield Challenge.

The team received a sponsorship package from DigicePNG worth over K600, 000.00. This will come in a form of cash and kind including awardingthe best player ofthe team inthe challenge.

South Australian Cricket Association or SACA premier league will commence in September into Christmas Eve. Six teams will be in for the challenge including Barramundis and four from South Australia, 1 Nothern Territory Team.

Two games will be played in Darwin and a game in Adelaide.
